User Guide: Activating NFC Cards in the mTap App

Activating a Single NFC Card

1. Open your camera on your device.
2. Scan the QR code that is on the NFC card.
3. Click the popup that appears, and it will directly lead you to the mTap app.
4. Choose the profile that you would like to link with your mTap device.
5. Your NFC device is now linked to your selected profile.

How To Activate Multiple NFC Cards for the Same Profile

1. Open mTap on the device you want to enable NFC.

3. Select to NFC device.
4. Click on activate new device.
5. Tap the NFC card to your device or scan through the QR code.

Additional Notes for NFC Activation

- iOS users: You can activate NFC by tapping the top of your phone or next to the camera. The NFC Reader is turned on by default.
- Android users: You need to tap the card on the back of your phone toward the center of the phone. Many Android phones require enabling the NFC Reader by going to settings. Check our compatibility guide for more information.
